Nav Durga Maa
Durga is worshipped in different forms. She is a form of "Shakti". The evolution of Shri Maha Saraswati, Shri Maha Laxmi and Shri Mahakali (the 3 main forms of "Shakti") took place from Shri Brahma, Shri Vishnu and Shri Mahesh respectively. Each of these 3 deities gave rise to 3 more forms and hence in all, these 9 forms together are known as Nav-Durga.
SHAILPUTRI MAA
Durga Shailputri (Daughter of Mountain) : "Shail" means mountains, "Putri" means daughter. Parvati, the daughter of the King of the Mountains Himavan, is called 'Shailputri". The first among nine Durgas and 1st night of Navratras is devoted to the puja of Shailputri . Her two hands display a trident and a lotus. Her mount is a bull. BARHAMCHARINI MAA

Farmer's hard work and Maa's care- A story represents Our Maa Love
Once Parvati maa and Shivji was monitoring the world, and suddenly they came across to a land where it has not been raining for 3years. When they were seeing the village, Maa saw a farmer sowing his land. After seeing the framer Maa asked Shivji, “It has not been raining for 3 years but still that farmer is sowing the land, why is he doing such a hectic work”. Shivji replied, “He is practicing is work so that he may not forget his work, because it is not going to rain for 9 years more”.
Parvati Maa asked to Shivji, “If it is not going to rain for more 9 years so why is he doing it in vain.”
Shivji replied with a smile, “I have already told he is practicing his work so that he may not forget his work.”
Parvati Maa felt very sorry for him, after all she is our mother and a mother can’t see her children in adversity.
(Shivji has a magical conch, whenever he chant trumpet of the conch it starts to rain)
Seeing at conch of Shivji, Parvati Maa asked Shivji to Chant trumpet of the conch but Shivji said, “You know I don’t breach rules of nature.”
Parvati Maa replied, “I don’t want you to interfere in natures law but I was wondering that if the farmer can forget to sow than you may also forget to chant trumpet of your conch.”
Shivji replied very innocently, “No, No, No, I can’t forget.”
Parvati Maa again said, “I know you have forgotten to chant trumpet of conch.”
Shivji took it as a challenge and started chant trumpet of the conch, and as it supposed it started to raining.
And our Maa kept on laughing and laughing.
That’s way our Shivji is called “Bhole Bandhari” , means Innocent like a kid
And our Parvati Maa loves her children very much thats why she made Shivji to interfere in nature’s law.
So it was the real story of our Maa’s real love………..
I LOVE MY SWEET MAA VERY MUCH,
JAI MATA DI
